Close up of image 'mrk1120' showing the immediate approach to Kingsbury station's building and its up platform. The booking hall appears to have been located at this end of the building and was originally accessed externally via the elaborate door set into the gable wall. However as the gate to the up platform has been opened against this door with bicycles stood against the gate it would appear that it has been the practice for a number of years for passengers to enter the booking hall via the platform door seen on the right. The lamp suspended on the right hand corner was lit by oil as would be the case for all lighting on the platform. The window on the left would appear to have been part of the general waiting room.
