View looking to Kings Norton of Kings Heath Station one month after the station had closed to goods traffic in June 1966. Railway staff have been using the platform to site a corrugated hut for storing tools and for mess facilities and a bowser for storing tar oil. The black chippings used in tarmacadam can be seen strewn on the platform in both directions.
