Looking down Station Drive from the High Street towards the station yard with offices of coal merchants all on the right. The domestic coal was still very important in the 1960s before the Clean Air Act and the availability of North Sea made gas-fired central heating the norm for most homes in Britain. The Tasco office, previously located at the bottom of the drive in the former Dixon & Baker building, has now moved up the street and is on the right.
