Ex-LT&SR 2P 4-4-2T No 2107 is seen at Kings Heath at the head of a down local passenger service in 1935. According to Barrie Geens, the driver is Billy Wilde of Bournville shed and the train could be departing for Kings Norton and the south or Bournville and on to New Street. Built as LT&SR No 66 'Earl's Court' by the North British Locomotive Company in June 1903, No 2107 was renumbered by the MR as No 2173 in 1912 then by the LMS as No 2107 in 1929 and as such remained in service until November 1949 when it was withdrawn from 16A Nottingham shed to be scrapped in December 1949 by Derby works.
