Ex-LMS Class 5 No 44812 is seen at the head of a mixed freight coming off the Camp Hill line, one winters day in 1962. Built by Derby works in October 1944 No 44812 remained in service until September 1967 when it was withdrawn from 5B Crewe South shed to be scrapped in January 1968 by G Cohen of Kettering.
