LMS 2-6-4T 4P No 2372 is seen accelerating hard at the head of a four coach local passenger service in 1937. Designed by Fowler and built by Derby works in September 1929, No 2372 was to remain in service until December 1962 when it was withdrawn from 9B Stockport shed to be scrapped in September 1963 at Derby works.
