Ex-MR 1P 0-4-4T No 1324 wearing shed plate No 3 stands at the head of a local passenger train in the station on 30th August 1925. Built by the MR to their 1532 design at Derby in June 1885 No 1324 remained in service until it was withdrawn from Wellingborough shed in February 1953 to be scrapped at Derby works soon afterwards.
