MR 0-6-4T 'Flatiron' No 2036 is seen heading a local passenger train of close coupled carriages circa 1921. Another member of the MR's 2000 class these locomotives were classified in being a 3P category locomotive suitable for some reasonably heavy commuter workings. Built at Derby works in September 1907 No 2036 remained in service until August 1936 when it too was withdrawn from 21A Saltley shed to be scrapped by Derby works circa 1936.
