MR 4-4-0 3P No 768, converted for oil firing, is seen at the head of a down express train south of Kings Norton on 1st October 1921. A member of the MR's 2606 class, No 768 was built at Derby works in April 1905 and was to remain in service until May 1936 when it was withdrawn from Leicester shed to be scrapped at Derby works circa 1936.
