MR 4-4-0 3P No 710 is at the head of an express service as it passes the Permanent Way gang's lineside hut on 16th July 1921. A member of the MR's 2606 class No 710 was built by Derby works in January 1902 and remained in service until March 1941 when it was withdrawn from 21A Saltley shed to be scrapped by Derby works during April 1941.
