Moseley Station: mrms421

Ex-LMS 0-6-0 4F No 44150 passes the site of the now closed Moseley station as it passes under Woodbridge Road bridge on 8th May 1955. The station was closed in 1940 as an economy measure caused by the outbreak of the Second World War. Built at Crewe works in November 1925 No 44150 remained in service for nearly another 8 years after this photograph was taken being withdrawn from Coalville shed in January 1963 to be scrapped during February 1963 by Derby works.
