A Midland Railway Excess Ticket - from Northfield to
Camphill in August 1888. An excess fare of 6d for what appears to be a
Perambulator (Baby Pram) consigned by a passenger. With inflation the 6d
(sixpence) is worth the equivalent of £3.02 in 2020. At least it was
cheaper than taking a donkey (£5) or another small quadruped (a four
legged animal). I wonder if there was an excess fare for the baby.
