LMS Route: Evesham to Birmingham

MR 'Spinner' 4-2-2 1P No 683 is seen piloting LMS 'Compound' 4-4-0 No 1090 on an express passenger service near Northfield during August 1925. Built at Derby works in June 1897 No 683 remained in service until April 1926 when it was withdrawn to be scrapped by Derby works circa 1926. The Compound was built by Derby works in July 1925 and was to remain in service for thirty-three more years being withdrawn in December 1958 from 17A Derby shed to be scrapped in June 1960 by British Railway's Doncaster Plant.
