LMS Route: Evesham to Birmingham

Ex-LMS 0-6-0T 3F No 47276 approaches Redditch with the 1:15pm local service from Ashchurch on 29th September 1962. This date marked the cessation of services between Redditch and Evesham, although the Evesham to Ashchurch section was to remain open until following year. Built as LMS No 7276 by the Vulcan Foundry in August 1924, No 47276 remained in service until March 1966 when it was withdrawn from 82F Green Park shed in Bath on the Somerset & Dorset Railway.
