Close up of image 'mrs1082' showing Stockingford's Goods Shed and goods sidings in the near distance on the right. Just visible is Stockingford Ground Frame (see mrs1076) which controlled access to the goods yard and shed. Beyond the yard are the main sidings used to marshal wagons being used to transport coal, bricks and tiles from the collieries and brickyards in the area. Of the three locomotives seen in steam at least one is an ex-L&YR locomotive. Their lightweight axle loading was required to operate the single line branch to Annesley Hall Colliery.
