LMS Route: Birmingham New Street to Nuneaton

Stockingford Station: mrs1083

Looking in the direction of Nuneaton with Haunchwood Brickwork's chimneys seen in the distance. The overbridge is carrying Whittleford Road over the railway. In addition to the sidings used to marshal wagons entering or leaving Stockingford branch line, the station had two sidings sited near to the passenger buildings. One siding provided access to the cattle dock and the other passed through a small goods shed. At the rear of the yard was another siding but this was in essence a head shunt and not used for the movement of goods locally.
