LMS Route: Birmingham New Street to Nuneaton

Looking towards Nuneaton Abbey Street with passengers waiting for a Birmingham bound train. The platform buildings seen opposite were typical of the line's stations. A stationmaster's house with booking office, waiting rooms and facilities attached. Note the obligatory fire buckets containg sand. Otherwise there is very little in the way of platform furniture, no bench seating, milk churns, baskets or porters barrows.
