LMS Route: Birmingham New Street to Nuneaton

Ex-MR 2F 0-6-0 No 3110 stands on the middle road of Stockingford shed shortly before the shed closed. The locomotive, in common with the others seen on shed, is fully coaled indicating that this is a Sunday thereby allowing one of Arthur Flower's photographic friends to pose by the locomotive. Built in February 1883 by Beyer Peacock No 3110 was to remain in service until the dying days of the LMS when it was withdrawn from Saltley shed in December 1947 to be scrapped by Derby works.
