Ex-MR 3P No 712, a member of the MR's 2606 class, is seen standing alongside Saltley No 3 roundhouse with the Sand Drying Plant behind on 2nd June 1935. Built by Derby works in January 1902, No 712 remained in service until December 1938 when it was withdrawn from Saltley shed to be scrapped in January 1939 by Derby works.
