British Railways 'Crosti-boilered' 9F 2-10-0 No 92028 stands inside Saltley shed's No 3 roundhouse. Built in July 1955 by Crewe works, No 92028 was the penultimate locomotive of the ten experimental engines to be built but was the first of the sub-class to have its pre-heater boiler sealed off, in 1959, and to be withdrawn, in October 1966 from 2E Saltley shed.
