Ex-LMS 8F 2-8-0 No 48529 and classmate No 48538 stand around the turntable inside Saltley's No 3 roundhouse. Both locomotives were built by the LNER's Doncaster Plant, No 48529 in April 1945 and No 4838 in August 1945 with No 48529 being withdrawn in June 1968 from 9D Newton Heath shed, and No 48538 in March 1967 from 2E Saltley shed.
