Ex-LMS 4P 4-4-0 No 41140 stands inside the roofless part of Saltley shed on 27th February 1955. Built as LMS No 1140 by the North British Locomotive Company in July 1925, No 41140 was to remain in service until May 1957 when it was withdrawn from 21A Saltley shed to be scrapped by Derby works in May 1957.
