Ex-LMS 8F 2-8-0 No 48755 stands around the turntable with other Stanier 2-8-0s and 4-6-0s locomotives in 1966. Built as LMS No 8755 by the LNER's Doncaster Plant in October 1946, No 48755 was to remain in service only for a short time after this photograph was taken being withdrawn in September 1966 from 2E Saltley shed to be scrapped by G Cohen of Kettering.
