Ex-MR 0-6-4T 'Flatiron' No 2000, the founding member of the MR's 2000 class, is seen stabled in company with other locomotives fully coaled and watered for its next trip circa September 1936. Built in September 1908 at Derby works, No 2000 had only fifteen months left in service after this photograph was taken being withdrawn from Nottingham shed in December 1937 for immediate scrapping.
