Ex-MR 1F 0-6-0 No 2623, an early design by Kirtley with outside curved frames, stands at the front of other class members alongside Saltley No 3 roundhouse on 24th September 1932. The building in the distance is Saltley's original roundhouse later designated No 1 roundhouse or shed.
