Ex-MR 2F 0-6-0 No 2994 is seen in line with other engines in the yard at Saltley on Sunday 28th September 1947. This is one built with 4' 10" wheels (later 4'11"), rather than the standard 5' 3". A feature of these engines that distinguished them visually was the fitting of outside brake pull rods, clearly seen in this photo.
