LMS Route: Birmingham New Street to Tamworth

Ex-MR 1P 0-4-4T No 1348 is seen standing on the stabling roads in front of No 3 roundhouse next to one of Saltley's many coal stackson 24th September 1932. A member of the MR's 1823 class No 1348 was built by Derby works in May 1892 and lasted in service until withdrawn from Burton-on-Trent shed in May 1949 to be scrapped shortly afterwards.
