Ex-LMS 5XP Jubilee Class No 45572 'Eire' passes Saltley on 12:32 pm York to Bristol service on Saturday 26th April 1958. Built as No 5572 'Irish Free State' by the North British Locomotive works in September 1934, No 45572 was renamed 'Eire' which it carried until January 1964 when it was withdrawn from 1A Willesden to be scrapped by A Loom of Spondon, Derby.
