Ex-Midland Railway 3P 4-4-0 No 716 gently simmers alongside one of Saltley shed's roundhouses in September 1936. Built at Derby works in April 1902 No 716 was to remain in service until February 1947 when it was withdrawn from Grimesthorpe shed.
