Ex-LMS 4P 2-6-4T No 42416 stands alongside one of Saltley shed's roundhouse on Sunday 3rd September 1961. Built by Derby works in November 1933, No 42416 arrived at Saltley shed in August 1960 and except for two weeks April 1964 when it was based at Stafford shed was to remain allocated to Saltley shed until its withdrawal week ending 27th June 1964.
