LMS Route: Hampton in Arden to Whitacre

An 1856 Timetable showing four down and three up passenger trains between Hampton and Whitacre. Again the tiumetable shows that the first train of the day, in this instance mineral, commenced at Hampton whilst the last train of the day, a passenger service, terminated at Hampton. In this instance its probable that the coaching stock was stabled overnight at Whitacre and the locomotive returned light engine to Hampton shed.
