LMS Route: Evesham to Birmingham
Salford Priors station: mrsp377
Front elevation of Salford Priors station with the MR style name
board still extant and taken from the fields opposite. This photograph of the
station is useful because it helps to show the proportions of the station
structure as well as the station nameboard. As can be seen the single storey
booking office and passenger waiting room is wider than the station master's
house. The distinct Midland station nameboard is probably twenty feet long as
viewed from this angle. Through the entrance gate to the right of the station a
doorway can be seen. It is thought that this might belong to the weighbridge
office which is situated at this point in Harvington goods yard.
