LMS Route: Evesham to Birmingham

A wintertime view showing to the left of the station house, the weighbridge office which would be used by the local merchants. The weighbridge could also be used by non-railway businesses on payment of a fee. In the distance the two sidings can be seen with the turnout to Bromford & Eversheds on the opposite side in between the two sets of points. The station still has an air of being looked after despite the lack of flowers etc due to the time of year, circa 1951. The absence of foliage allows the distinctive and unique Midland Railway sloping fence to be seen.
