Close up of image 'mrspk344' showing Sutton Park's main station building which housed the booking office, waiting rooms and toilets. There was also a large waiting room on this platform too and a ladies waiting room was still in existence towards the end of its working life. The 'Way Out' sign seen above was located outside the platform door to the booking hall which was in effect a corridor passing from one side of the building to the other. The booking hall separated the booking office from the waiting room.
