LMS Route: The Birmingham West Suburban Railway

British Railways 4-6-0 Standard Class 5 No 73092 is seen on a down four coach express service from New Street to Worcester in 1963. The photograph was taken near to where the University station now stands. Built at Derby works in October 1955 No 73092 has a very short working life being withdrawn in July 1967 from 70C Guildford shed to be scrapped during January 1968 by J Cashmore of Newport.
