Tamworth High Level Station's signal box located on the up platform as seen on 9th August 1969. The cantilevered design reduced the signal box's foot print in what was a narrow space as behind the signal box was the connecting line which ran between the former LNWR Trent Valley line and the MR's Derby to Birmingham line.
