LMS Route: Birmingham New Street to Tamworth

A 1970 view looking north towards Tamworth with the station looking neat and tidy but devoid of furniture. There is little different to the 1940s view (see image 'mrw440') except the road bridge has been widened with the extension of the abutment to accommodate concrete beams carrying part of Watling Street's widened road and pathway.
