Washwood Heath Sidings: mrwhg1011

Washwood Heath Sidings No 3 Signal Box which was located adjacent to No 1, 2 and 3 arrival sidings on the down lines. The brake van is passing through the throat of the first section of sidings used to stable the incoming traffic. The sidings were numbered 1 to 8 (out of a total of 23) and ran parallel with the main Birmingham to Derby line and their exit was controlled by Washwood Heath Sidings No 2 Signal Box.
