This close up of image 'mrwhg345' is of interest because it shows the two stacks of coal in front of the buildings and so carefully placed using the same techniques as "dry-wall" building. The Private Owner wagons seen above are; Rothervale, Exhall (of Coventry), and Edwards & Powell plus a Mountsorrel Granite container sitting on a MR long wheelbase flat wagon. The majority of the MR open wagons are of the open 5 plank type with the very clean lettering on some indicating that they were either relatively new or had just been repaired and/or repainted.
