This close up of image 'mrwhg345' shows MR 0-6-0 No 630 working in the yard. The locomotive and tender have springs fitted above and outside the running plate whilst the very clean condition of the lettering and some bodies indicates that the MR was certainly investing in their goods traffic.

John Shelley wrote to me advising that No 630 was built in 1868 by Dubs & Co as a member of the 480 class and was rebuilt in 1883. Unlike No 645 seen in the main photograph No 630 did not last even to receive a new number under the 1907 scheme as it was withdrawn in 1903.
