LMS Route: Evesham to Birmingham

Looking in the direction of Broom showing Wixford station's single siding goods yard and its simple loading ramp for loading livestock. The facilities in the goods yard matched those of the passenger station both being very rudimentary. The point rodding running along side the single track and then across to the point on the siding was controlled by the north ground frame sited under the road bridge. Ground frames required the single line tablet to be employed before they could be operated, a safety measure designed to ensure that the guard and driver were aware of all operations.
