View looking towards Kingsbury with the line to Nuneaton curving away to the right behind the signal box on 3rd August 1969. The missing semaphore was for the Up Goods line, which had just been removed as part of the rationalisation in readiness for the transfer of this area to the control of the new Saltley Power Box. The passenger station closed on 4th March 1968. The platform for Leicester can just been seen on the left. This platform had a waiting room built out of timber.
