A 1902 25 inch to the mile Ordnance Survey Map showing Whitacre Station's three platforms. By the turn of the century the MR had installed a footbridge between the up platform and the island platform within which all the station's booking and passenger facilities were located. On this map the entrance to Whitacre Station's goods facilities and its weighbridge and office is more clearly marked. By 1902 the number of sidings had increased to three but still the station had no goods shed or crane.
