An exterior road level view of Water Orton station showing the goods entrance on the left and the passenger entrance on the right. The goods entrance was primarily used for parcels and luggage and led to a lift that descended on to the down side of the island platform as seen in image 'mrwo122b'. The building had been constructed to allow passengers to Derby, Leicester or Birmingham use the one building located in the centre of the bridge carrying Marsh Lane across the railway.
