The Ro-Railer is standing at the up platform whilst ex-MR
4-4-0 No 556 stands on the middle road. The location was identified as
Stratford on Avon but that clearly is not the case as there is a centre road
and the station canopy is not steeply inclined back. A member of the MR's 483
class No 556 was built by Neilson & Company in May 1901 and remained in
service until April 1956 when it was withdrawn from '18C' Hasland shed to be
scrapped by Derby works.
