View on 18th August 1962 of the derelict station looking East and showing the second signal box has now been replaced by a ground frame. The wagons in the goods yard on the left look as if they are if they too are very close to being condemned whilst the sidings in the yard are now overgrown with weeds. Ballast on the former track to Broom indicates that whilst the line may now have been closed it was still in use as a headshunt.
