E&WJR and SMJ - Locomotives and Rolling Stock: smjsa163

SMJ 0-6-0 No 18 stands outside Stratford on Avon shed after working forward the United States Ambassador's special from Woodford Halse in 1909. The locomotive's smokebox door has been bedecked with a laurel wreath, a nameboard 'Harvard' and the Union and American flags. In addition to the crew and shed foreman posing by the locomotive are two other workmen located on the roof of the shed.
