Looking along the former down platform towards the former track bed to Broom and the junctions with the GWR on 17th July 1966. On the left the line would curve to meet the ex-GWR line at Stratford Racecourse Platform (see image 'smjsa364') and on the right, the line would meet the ex-GWR line near to Sanctus Road (see image 'smjsa265').
