Another view of the new Stratford on Avon shed with ex-MR locos outside including No 3529 and No 3077 fully coaled and watered ready for their next turn of duties the following Monday. The new shed has been built to accommodate four roads yet only three are in evidence. The evidence of soot above where the fourth road should be would indicate that the road had been lifted after it had been initially used. The lamppost on the right, once gas lit, has been superceded by electric power although it is interesting to note that by 1956 it had been removed as seen in image 'smjsa65b'.
