Bulkington Station: lnwr_bulk1608

View of Bulkington station from a field adjacent to the up line platform looking across to the main station building and timber waiting room. Its not known why the waiting room was built as there was some accommodation in the main station building. The 'Gentlemens' toilet seen in image 'lnwr_bulk1606' is just visible behind the waiting room next to the lean-to structure. The station sign on the island platform was LNWR in design and to its right is a gas lamppost with ladder leaning against it. The lamppost would only be required if the station was still handling passengers.
